Looks like we made it

Well we have finally made it to Hawaii or more specifically the big island. When we arrived it was getting dark so am yet to see the beauty of this island in day light but am looking forward to it.

We are staying in Kona but have a rental car which we will be using to explore the rest of the island.

Getting ready

So the time has finally come! I am getting ready to head overseas for the next 2 months. In that time I am going to be getting to Hawaii, San Francisco, London and doing a chunk of Europe via a tour.

I’m excited but also nervous which is to be expected.

I am hoping to keep this updated as much as I can with where I get to and what I see, so sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

Vietnam Travels

I have just returned from a 2 and half week trip in Vietnam with one of my best friends. What an incredibly amazing country. In those 2 weeks we crammed so much in and I am so glad because there is so much to see, but I could have stayed for longer. Our time was not long enough but I look forward to returning.

I love, love, love lists, so here is a sort of top 5:

My favourite place: Hoi An (hands down one of the most amazing places, I will for sure be returning!)
The thing that surprised me the most: The architecture
What I found hard: The intensity of Saigon. A place of 9 million people is double what is in the whole of my country, so I found this part hard.
The people: Oh so friendly, especially once you get out of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)
Favourite experience: The Cu Chi Tunnels, going on a boat down the Mekong Delta River and riding on a cyclo – what an experience.
